Customer Review: Not much of a good product..
After two weeks of the delivery of the product, one of the buttons don’t wanna work anymore. I called the customer service but I haven’t got a chance to ship it in yet for a replacemnt.

The unit itself does have some good features such as FM with recording along with voice recording. And plays folders as well but not as easy as you can select it. And also comes with several black lit colors as wel.

If your on an SD card, you have to start all over on the play list when you turn the unit back on. The unit itself is very fragile and the plastics can be easly scratched. One of the holders for the back battery cover broke off.

Customer Review: don’t expect an ipod but functional
This isn’t a bad little mp3 player.

pros: it has a screen, relatively cheap, has radio. The screen image is ok (note, the pic. of the girl is a sticker).

cons: the interface is somewhat non-intuitive. You have to push the left/right buttons to scroll down. The video is a nice feature but it uses .amv (converting software included) which is hardly used by mp3 devices. I’ve had no trouble getting video converted, lots of trouble getting the audio from the video to play (although I have had minimal success).

all in all: it’s not a bad mp3 player. I got mine on sale so maybe that’s why I’m not as disappointed. $40 is probably the limit on what I’d spend on this (although who knows what lesser mp3 player you could get for this $). Again, it’s not an ipod, but if you can be content with an mp3 player that has a few bells and whistles (but not great ones), it’s a good buy.

The tiny picture available here suggests that the big white button on the dial actually turns the AM/FM tuner and I was delighted to find when I opened the box that it does indeed control the tuner. In fact, it gears down so that you get really fine tuning for radio stations (you turn the dial all the way around about 4 times when going from the lowest end of the dial to the highest end). It also comes with a tuning light that turns green when you have the signal at the best strength. The volume knob is also simple to operate. The built in mono speaker has good sound and nice bass. My mother is thrilled!

Customer Review: Nice & Simple
For what it is..it’s great. It’s about the simplest player you can find.
I love the fact that all you have to do is drag & drop your files in the Coby…nothing to install. Plays fine & sounds fine. It’s not an iPod, but you already know that. It would have been nice if it had some kind of carrying case..for the player & accessories. I went hunting & found my old beeper strap & attached it to my Coby pretty much right away..I mean it’s only plastic & doesn’t grip all that tight. So, if I were you I’d put some kind of strap on it or maybe attach some rubber to the inside of the clip to help it grip better.
Over all..it’s nice & worth the money.

However, the anti-skip is HORRIBLY sensitive. I have found very few conditions under which I can play a CD without it needing ESP. This includes positions in which it is completely still! Often times, I can start to play a CD with no problem, but over time it will start to need ESP more to play, and eventually stop playing altogether. From there, it’s pretty much useless to try and play the CD - the unit will barely read it.

This has been tested with multiple CD’s, all in perfect shape, some brand new.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! These things are not very attractive anymore because of the electronic memory units, but I wanted something that I could still hook up to my car until I can afford a real replacement for my CD deck. I guess I should have saved up!
