Examine the styles carefully
I currently have a cute metal blue case on my nano, but it doesn’t protect the screen, so other than it being really cute, it doesn’t protect my ipod.

I really liked these ipod covers when I saw them, but I wasn’t quite sure of the difference, after all, the metal one does cost more than double the price of the other 2 cases shown here. So, what did I do, I bought 2 different styles.

Both styles I bought have the flap over the front cover. They are the exact same color of pink (kinda metallic), the one with the leather sides might be a tadbit bigger. Oh, they each have a little magnet to keep the cover closed.

Now, here is the big different between the 2. The leather case cover with leather sides, the one priced at $6.84, you flip up the cover and the screen is facing upright and there is a nice large slot at the bottom to connect your earphones or charger. The magnet holding the case closed seems a little weak, it might easily come open in your purse or while clipped on your belt. Over all, I think it’s a really nice case and good value for the money. Now, to me, the Special Edition Metal case (it’s only a metal insert inside a leather case) for $14.95 would be perfect, BUT it seems upside down. You pull the cover down to have the screen facing upright. There is a notch for the earphones, but you will have to leave the cover open to charge the ipod, you don’t have to remove it. When you do clip it onto your belt or pocket, the screen is upside down. The metal covering the front of your ipod is less bulky than the leather of the other case and, of course, the magnet works much better on the metal cover.

I’m going to use both cases and see which one I like better, but I think I already like the all leather case best. I’d rather be able to keep my case closed and my screen covered while I’m charging my ipod.
