Customer Review: Awesome purchase
I’m so glad I bought this. It works perfectly in my car! A little hissing in the background for some of the songs but I get much more enjoyment from the iPod. Good purchase.

Customer Review: Absolute junk
This product is trash. The display did not work, and it skips tracks constantly. Colby also charges you 6 dollars to repair or replace their defective product. It’s cheaply priced, but in the long run will cost you more money as you try to repair it. When the repair doesn’t work, you’ll end up spending more money on a better product.

Coby MP-C885 1 GB Flash MP3 Player with FM Tuner and Direct USB Drive (Black)
March 23, 2008 on 1:06 am | In Coby 1 GB, Coby MP3 | No Comments
Coby MP-C885 1 GB Flash MP3 Player with FM Tuner and Direct USB Drive (Black) Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand but loaded with features, the Coby MP-C885 MP3 player lets you listen to your favorite tunes on the bus, at the park, and just about anywhere else. The device measures a mere 3.58 by 1.1 by 0.75 inches (W x H x D), with a removable end cap that reveals a direct USB plug for connecting to a computer (no cable required). More significantly, the MP-C885 offers 1 GB of integrated flash memory, so you can store roughly 16 hours of MP3 music or 32 hours of WMA music–more than enough for a marathon training run or a cross-country flight. And for those occasions when you need to transport data rather than music, the MP- C885 can handle that, too, with the ability to store JPEG photos, text documents, and more. The mobile storage function is ideal for transporting business documents across the country or serving as an overflow backup for your digital camera’s memory card.
It’s easy to navigate through the audio player’s contents thanks to the high-contrast LCD display, which displays the song title and artist information. And as with the best MP3 players, the MP-C885 offers a number of handy extras, such as a built-in digital FM tuner, support for Windows Media DRM-10 online subscription services, an integrated microphone for digital voice recording, ID3 and LRC support for song and synchronized lyric information display, and a high-speed USB 2.0 interface (up to 40x faster than USB 1.0). The MP-C885, which runs on a single AAA battery (included), works with Windows 98 SE, Me, 2000, and XP and Mac OS X operating systems and carries a 90-day warranty.
What’s in the Box
MP-C885 MP3 player, professional stereo earphones, USB extension cable, installation CD, AAA battery, user’s manual.
Customer Review: Worked great.. for a while.
Bought one of these for my 14 year old son, who used it almost constantly. Thought it was so cute I bought one for myself as well. After about 2 weeks he complained that the play/pause button (also the on/off button) was difficult to push. A few days later he couldn’t get it to work at all. Given that I paid almost nothing for it, I wasn’t about to mess with sending it to Coby, so I opened it up to see what was going on. Problem was basically a poor design. The little push buttons stand up at right angles to the PC board inside, and when you press on them it strains the tiny little solder joints that hold them down, eventually breaking them. The play/pause button is especially weak since it’s on the end. I swapped units with him and told him to be real careful with the buttons. He was, and was able to get another 6 months out of the thing before the second one died the same way. I guess there’s a good reason that Coby’s products are “budget priced”..

Apple iPod 80GB
Great product but there are a few glitches if you are not carefull.
I have not bought any songs, I downloaded all my own CD’s using my Windows XP computer.
I soon realized I needed to move my itunes library to an external drive to free up the space on my c:drive.
Now if I try to use my song library I get error message “files not found do you want to search” If I search I can find the song in Windows but have to find each song individually, I can then add it to the library at the new drive location.
I have 2600 songs I burned from my CD collection and I have now started this time consuming task to be able to use my itunes library.
Meanwhile I cannot attach my iPod to the computer as I am told this will clear the iPod drive.
So if you buy this great item be careful if you need to move your songs to another drive or computer. There is a way to do it, but it is not the most obvious way.
SanDisk Sansa e260 4 GB

Great MP3 Player
I purchased the Sansa E260 as my first MP3 player after quite a bit of research. Of course I considered the heavy weight Ipod and Zune however I was steered away by the high cost and bloated software that came along.
For approximately 1/2 the price of the equivalent Zune or Ipod, the E260 gives you great bang for the buck.
Features that I was most impressed with:
- No bloated software necessary, supported Plug and Play (Drag and Drop) USB Mass Storage style use.
- FM tuner
- Voice Recorder
- Support for additional Memory via SD
I highly recommend this device and I am really happy with my first MP3 player.
high value - low cost.
this -easy to use- nice design - player maybe hasn’t got the buzz of the ipod but it’s low cost and flexible OS makes it much better purchase.

Very pleased
This item was to replace another MP3 player I had. My main use for this item is to play subscription music from Yahoo! I’m very pleased with the sound quality. My only problem I had with the player was that I did not get any software with it as mentioned in the description, and I had to download it from the Sansa website, which was not that easy to figure out what I needed. Then the software and the player could not “read each other.” But once that was resolved, it has been working fine. I’m really impressed for how long I can play it without having to recharge the battery.
Apple iPod shuffle 512 MB White (1st Generation)

Original Shuffle-the best
This first generation i-pod shuffle arrived within 4 business days even though I opted for standard shipping. The product was packaged well. My wife likes the sound of the 1st generation i-Pod Shuffle better than the 2nd generation type. Recommend this product if you can find one.

Apple iPod shuffle 2 GB Purple (2nd Generation)

2 GB offers better value for the money
The increase in capacity to 2GB now makes the Shuffle worth the money. I had the 1 GB version previously and was happy with the functionality, but I always felt that it was overpriced for what it gave you.
I wouldn’t make a Shuffle my primary iPod, but it’s great for going to the gym or times when you don’t want to carry a full size iPod.
Using either witchcraft, fairy dust or highly gifted engineers (we’re not sure which), Apple has created an iPod Shuffle of an almost impossibly small size. Only slightly bigger than a U.S. quarter, this teensy-weensy device packs 2GB of Storage space. Enough for up to 480 of your favorite songs! Apple also attached a clip to the back of the Shuffle, so you can wear it anywhere for skip-free Music playback. Perfect for working out or just walking down the street. Unit Dimensions - 1.62 x 1.07 x 0.41 (including clip) Unit Weight - 0.55 oz. Color - Purple

Inexpensive protection for your I-pod investment
I bought the silicone cover in a bright “custom” color as a way to both jazz up and protect an i-pod nano. Product protects unit great and actually makes handling easier as it won’t slide around on a table or smooth surface.
Stylish Silicone case for Apple iPod Nano 3rd Generation Great protection against everyday hazzards. Free LCD Protector and Armband when purchased from VIZU. 1 Year Warranty from VIZU.
