apple-8-gb-ipod-touch.jpgGreat product!!! It is a must own. 4 3/4 stars!!!
I bought the touch as a replacement for my wife’s MP3 which was stolen. After playing with it for a couple of hours and get it loaded with her music I when out and bought me one. I don’t listen to a lot of music but this thing is WAY more then a MP3 player. I love movies and own upwards 500 DVDs. I found a software online that rips the DVD into the Ipod format. I syncd it up to the Touch and have been watching movies on the go for the past two days.
The interface on this went playing music is awsome in how you can “flip” through album covers to find the music you want to listen to.
There are couple things that made me mark my rating down to 4 stars.
–You have to pay $20 for the extra programs which really should have been free and on the system from the start.
–it would have been nice to add a FM transmitter to the unit to be able to play in the car without have to by a transmitter.
–the unit “desktop” should be able to turn if the unit is on its side like the internet does over the music does.
Like I said small things. if there was a way to do 4 3/4 starrs I would for this product.

Apple 80 GB iPod classic

apple-80-gb-ipod-classic.jpgA happy new IPOD user
Easy to use and looks good. The cover flow is a nice feature, and I find with 15 or so CDs imported (since getting it a few days back) it works speedily i.e. no delay in the artwork appearing. I have a silicon cover and this has a thin film covering the click wheel. It works well. The clarity of video playback is great.
I find the equalizer is best off (not one EQ setting seems to enhance the sound in the way I like), but apart from that it seems a wonderfully designed music player. I give 4 rather than 5 stars because I am never keen on products which do not allow you to change the battery.
Finally, Amazon have a good price on it.

The iPod classic features an updated design on the digital media player you already know and love. Some of the new bits include a sleek all-metal enclosure, a massive increase in storage space, a thinner body, and a brand-new user interface featuring Cover Flow. Cover Flow allows you to easily browse through your music collection by flipping through each album’s cover art using the Click Wheel. When you find the album you want, you can flip it over for the track listing. Just like you’d do with a real CD or vinyl. Connects to a PC or Mac through USB (using the dock connector) Charge Time - about 4 hours (2 hours fast charge to 80% capacity) Audio Support - AAC (16 to 320 Kbps), Protected AAC (from iTunes Store), MP3 (16 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3,&4), Apple Lossless, WAV,&AIFF Photo Support - Syncs iPod-viewable photos in JPEG, BMP, GIF, TIFF, PSD (Mac only), and PNG formats Video Support - H.264 video, up to 1.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Low-Complexity version of the H.264 Baseline Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in. m4v,. mp4, and. mov file formats; H.264 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Baseline Profile up to Level 3.0 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in. m4v,. mp4, and. mov file formats; MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in. m4v,. mp4, and. mov file formats Unit Dimensions - 4.1 x 2.4 x 0.41 Unit Weight - 4.9 oz.
